Do we still need the Wyoming House of Prayer?
Well, maybe not, as the state of Wyoming isn’t gone yet. But then again, there is still plenty of prayer needed in our state, for the people here or those traveling through. Our churches still need prayer covering, as we still seem to have plenty of people with flaws. In fact, I can’t think of any perfect people, well maybe the one — Jesus! Good thing, too. We need a perfect savior to thoroughly cover our sins, of the past, the present, and the ones we’ll commit in the future.
Wyoming House of Prayer still exists; we just haven’t been meeting together on a regular basis for quite some time. Considering the crazy time in life I’ve had the past year, along with the extra changes at CrossBridge Alliance, participating in God’s Mighty Men, we let the Prayer & Worship in the park lapse this year.
My crazy life now includes two little ones: Enoch (2.5 yrs) and Oziah (5 months, today!). We’ve been busy. I have been continuing to pray daily for Wyoming and for WyHoP and waiting to see what God has in store for us next. CrossBridge Alliance, the merged Cheyenne Alliance and CrossPoint Fellowship (previously First Congregational Church), is building a new identity with a new lead pastor (Pastor Zach). God’s Mighty Men was a great conference, though I didn’t see everyone I’d like to see at that conference.
We are going to be working out new details on getting together to pray. Probably once a quarter to start with, then once a month. I want more of us to gather together, worshipping Jesus and interceding for our city, our churches, our counties, our state, our country, and the rest of the world.
Please continue to pray. Only God saves and redeems us, communicate with Him daily.
In Christ,
Benjamin
